INFORMATION ABOUT AMBALA Ambala is a city located on the border of the states of Haryana and Punjab in India.Politically and geographically Ambala has two sub-areas: Ambala Cantt (cantonment) and Ambala City, a few kilometers apart from each other. It has a large army and air-force base within the confines of its cantonment area. Due to its geographical location, the Ambala District plays an important role in local tourism. It is the main entry to Haryana for the tourists of Punjab, Himachal, Jammu and Kashmir and the union territory Chandigarh; and vice-versa.
AMBALA HISTORY As per ancient Indian history, Aryan people had resided at Ambala at some point in time and during the middle century, there was a very popular place called Sarudhna near Ambala, which was the country's capital at that time.
